I led creative for A Home for Kitty, a 360 campaign for the Brunch x Sanrio collaboration launch. I developed and pitched the creative concept directly to the Sanrio Tokyo team, securing their approval to navigate cultural nuance and brand guidelines across both audiences.
The campaign follows a Makayla, spending a slow Sunday at home, making mochi, watching Hello Kitty cartoons, and reading, set in a space that reads as both Asian and familiar to an American audience. The goal was to expand Brunch into the Asian market, and I led creative direction in close collaboration with the Sanrio Tokyo team to navigate cultural nuance and brand guidelines across both audiences.
The assets ran across OOH in Tokyo, retail, digital, and press, driving 38% of total sales on this collection from APAC, selling out at Sanrio's Ginza flagship within a week and online within four days, with coverage in Hypebae, WWD, Yahoo Shopping, and additional outlets. This also guided creative for an event at Kijitora Matcha in Brooklyn.
