3. Speakeasy

Speakeasy is a mobile application that tracks a user’s unwanted speech habits, such as filler words, vulgarity, and sentiment analysis. Upon downloading the app, the user will set up their voice signature which allows our program to recognize their speech independently of others.

Then, he or she can choose continuous mode and set time intervals in which the app randomly samples your speech. Or, the user can choose practice mode and manually turn on Speakeasy. At the end of a given period, the user can track  progress through graphical representations and statistics.

Pitched to investors and won $3000 in funding.

User Research
After 38+ user research & surveys, the data was amalgamated into a single user journey.

Wireframing & UI
Developed mock wireframes to outline user flow. Created illustrations to reinforce an encouraging, welcoming, and educational environment.

App Ecosystem
Speakeasy is compatible with iOS devices and smart speakers; so, whether you’re at home or on-the-go, users can stay mindful of their habits.

Speakeasy curates speech analysis for each individual user and analyzes in it real-time. Our science-backed method will improve not only your day to day conversations, but pave the way to success. In the future, we would like to address all unwanted habits beyond speech.
